Club Taree Golf has a long and proud tradition being first established in May 1915 progressing through the years to its present position as one of the premier golf courses on the east coast.

Spread over 180 acres, we offer a parkland style course which is both rewarding and challenging.

We have a 21 hole golf course, however the 18 championship holes measure 5513m with a par of 70 for the men, and a measure of 5013m with a par of 72 for women.

We welcome you to either join our Club to enjoy our numerous weekly competitions or simply play a social round with friends.

Juniors Golf

Our Golf Professional Nathan Dorahy runs a fun and engaging Junior Golf Program during school terms. It is focuses on all ages and levels of ability to improve their game so that they can maximise their enjoyment of golf and all it has to offer.

Junior Golf Membership is $25 per year. Membership sign up can be processed at Club Taree Reception.

CLUB TAREE

Veterans Golf

Club Taree Veteran Golfers are one of several internal clubs within Club Taree. It is affiliated with the NSW. Veterans Golf Association. Membership is open to any golfer provided they are over 55years of age and a member of a Golf Club.

CLUB TAREE VETERAN GOLFERS play their competition primarily on Monday mornings, hitting off between 7.30 and 8.30am.

EVENTS vary throughout the year and are played over the Full Course mostly.

The Committee is trying to re-introduce. Barbeques once a month for a nominal

additional Cost.

Golf Competition Fees are set by the Committee depending on the numbers of Veteran Golfers playing the days Competition and the Presentation is normally complete between 12.30 to 1.30pm.

All Competitions are Handicapped through Golflink. Six of Veteran Golfer clubs in the Lower North Coast District (Taree, Wauchope, Tallwoods, Forster Tuncurry, Wingham, and Harrington Waters) have their own Open Day during the year to which Taree Veteran Golfers are welcome.

The Manning Valley Veteran Golfers Association Week of Golf is held every October and our allocated day is Tuesday. Golf is played on Monday, Tuesday, rest day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The week of golf is played at Taree, Tallwoods and Harrington Waters. Veteran Golfers from around Australia are Welcome to this event.

Somehow or another there is a chemistry about Veteran Golfers that contribute greatly to good fellowship and golf with no pressure.

REMEMBER; The only criteria for becoming a Veteran Golfer at Club Taree, you must be a member of Club Taree and that you are a golf member of a Golf Club affiliated with the NSW Golf Association and over 55 years of age and Gender does not matter. There is no requirement to be a Returned Serviceperson to be a Veteran Golf member, but they are as welcome as everyone. Come and join us.

Foot Golf

As the name suggests FootGolf is a combination of Football (soccer) and Golf. The game involves kicking a soccer ball into a hole in as few kicks as possible. FootGolf uses the same model as golf, with a fairway, tee, hazards, bunkers and 9 holes of play.

We have worked with FootGolf Australia to install an accredited and challenging 9 hole course for everyone to enjoy.

The game is friendly to all ages and abilities and can be played as a single, in pairs, groups or teams – the possibilities are endless – and the element of fun is guaranteed. Perfect for social, corporate, and team events.
